Thank you again for your support of our gym throughout the years. We understand that the past several weeks have been both exciting and frustrating with regards to planning, since no one really knew exactly where the new facility is. We wanted to make sure that the wonderful people who were doing construction there weren't interrupted with cars driving around. We understand everyone wants to drive by and see the place, which is fine, however we do ask that you DO NOT enter the building. There is still construction going on inside and we don't want to interrupt them while they work; plus, a construction area isn't the best place to be wandering about. Everyone will be able to see the new facility soon when we open!
And finally, the information everyone has been waiting for...........

AAG's new Dance Program schedule is finalized!!!
Registration is open for current AAG students until next Friday!! Then will be open to the general public.

Tuition:
45min class = $35/month
1hr class = $45/month
*Minimum enrollment for classes to run will be 4 students.
Multi-class discounts = $5 off additional class taken by same student (may combine dance/gymnastics)
Multi-student discounts = 10% off each additional sibling

We are very excited to welcome our new Dance Program Director, Ms. Carson.
Carson Reiners is originally a NYC performer/choreographer/visual artist who relocated to Chicago in 2014. She has been the recipient of the 2016 Krannert Center Emerging Artist Grant, 2016/2017 Principle Dance Studio Residency, 2015 IAP grant from the city of Chicago, 2015 recognized choreographer for DanceChance Redux 6.0 and has shown work at High Concept Labs, University of Chicago, Harold Washington Library, Gerald Arpino Black Box Theatre, Goethe Institute, Aplomb Gallery, Hubbard Street Studios, Chicago Dance Month and more.
Prior to living in Chicago Carson was based out of NYC where she danced for many years under many prominent choreographers and had her work presented at Judson Church, Dixon Place, Tada Theatre, Brick Theatre, Reverb Dance Festival, WestFest, KoDaFe. Much of Carson's professional career has taken her abroad and she has worked in international projects in Europe, India, Peru, South Africa, and Israel for significant periods of time. This has included the project and tour of "Kindling" in India, the international collaboration "Crossings" in South Africa, and "Las Sacerdotistas de Machu Picchu" in Peru.
She attended Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Ballet Hispanico, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and Joffrey Ballet NY, all on scholarship. She attended the prestigious Rotterdam Academy/CODARTS in Rotterdam, Netherlands and graduated with a BFA in dance from the Anton Bruckner Universitat in Linz, Austria. She is an avid movement educator and can be found teaching throughout the state of Illinois. www.carsonreiners.com

We would like to announce that AAG will be opening a dance program at the new location!
Dance as an art form is classic, timeless, and certainly the basis of many other activities. We will be offering a variety of classes to at least include ballet, jazz, modern, and hip-hop. Construction on the new dance studio will be starting in the next week or so!
Stay tuned for the introduction of the new Dance Program Director!

For our 10th Year Anniversary, we wanted to do something SPECIAL....EXTRAORDINARY....EXCITING!!!!
So.................We have signed a lease on a new building!!!!
We are in the process of finalizing zoning requirements, pulling building permits, etc. We will be posting updates on Facebook, and emailing them out, so that everyone can be a part of the big move!!!
Our plan is to open the new facility in September. It is located less than 5 minutes away from West Leyden. Most classes will move to the new building, however we will still have some of the beginner boys and girls classes at Leyden.
Thank you for all of your support, and we are happy to have you join us on this exciting new journey for AAG!!
