Team Coaches
All AAG Competitive Team coaches are USA Gymnastics Professional Members and are Safety certified at minimum. Many of our coaches hold higher certifications and attend yearly educational congresses for continuing education!
Coach Morgan
Started coaching gymnastics in 2017 and has experience working with athletes from all levels of recreational classes through Level 10. A former competitive gymnast, she began coaching after a career ending injury in high school. Before becoming a mom, Morgan worked as a nurse, and she now loves helping athletes be the best they can be while fostering a lifelong love for the sport
Coach Nate
Started his journey competing in Men’s Gymnastics at Leyden High School. He was a coach at AAG from 2006–2019, returning in 2024. Nate has experience coaching all levels of recreational gymnastics, Pre-Team, and Xcel Bronze–Platinum. Outside the gym, he works as a Research Coordinator at Northwestern University and will join Triton College as part-time faculty in fall 2025.
Coach Jess
Grew up as a competitive gymnast at All Around and competed as a varsity gymnast at Leyden High School. She primarily coaches beam, helping athletes develop confidence, precision, and artistry on this challenging apparatus
Coach Morgan
Started gymnastics at age 13, competing in Xcel Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. At 15, she started her coaching career and has since gained experience working with preschool-aged children, all levels of recreational gymnastics, Pre-Team, and Xcel Bronze–Gold.
Coach Nicole
Began gymnastics at a young age and spent eight years as a competitive USA Gymnastics athlete. After her club career, she went on to compete at the collegiate level, where she further developed her skills and passion for the sport as an assistant coach. Later in her career, she served as a high school head coach for seven years along with the XCEL and Optional Head Coach for a Gym in Minnesota.
